LIBERALS QUESTION WHY DOUG FORD

LIBERALS QUESTION WHY DOUG FORD

FROM BRIAN JOHNS PRESIDENT OF THE LIBERAL PARTY OF CANADA

$3 billion.

That’s how much Doug Ford gave back to big business today by ending Ontario’s cap-and-trade program.

But that’s not what has me concerned.

What deeply worries me is the fact that $3 billion of revenue no longer exists to help people in need.

Hospital repairs will be cut. Life saving-medication for children and seniors will be cut. And mental health services will be cut.

And for what? $0.10 off the price of gas?

It’s wrong and selfish. However, this conversation doesn’t end here.

This is Brian’s concerns about Doug Ford, and my response to him is posted below.

In history we as citizens of Canada elect our government going by their promises they make to the people, this is how we decide who we want in power for four years. It is a let down when candidates make promises they are not willing to keep after elected into office, it is a breath of fresh air when someone stands by their word. This kind of person is not common in politics, so when we do find someone like that we will hold on for as long as we can to keep them in power.

We are so looking forward to the elections in 2019, Canada will be moved in a different direction which is going to be for the betterment of Canada as a whole, as well as our trading partners. This move Doug Ford is making is the beginning of a movement to fix the problems Canadians have been forced to endure for the past 20 years or so, from the economy, genders, immigrants, laws that have been passed to muzzle rights to speak, our Christian beliefs, and the list goes on.
Brian as well as Peter, you say Doug is selfish we as Canadians don’t see it that way, what we see is cutting down on wasted money as well as way too many public servants getting paid for creating RED TAPE for Canadians only, funny that there is no RED TAPE for immigrants or genders, why is this so? It is time for a change to put Canada and the workers first.
