Bill 41 is the liberal government’s way to spend more money so they benefit and to dray down the doctors and the health of the nation, they have plans to create more bureaucracy which results in less money where it is needed. Also bill 41 will allow the government to access personal health records without your consent.Ontario’s doctors have asked the government to change the bill before it passes, the government ignored concerns and chose not to consult doctors who are on the front line, take action to protect patient focused care.

Ontario government is committed to a stronger health care system and serve patients better however not working with the doctors which is critical for success of bill 41. This bill provides sweeping powers for the Minister of Health, and the LHIN CEO to impose decisions on patient care, Ontario doctors say the focus needs to be on the front line care, not on bureaucracy and administration.

Doctors are disappointed cause the government marginalize and devalues doctor’s expert advice, knowledge, and push forward with a flawed legislation knowing it is not in the best interest of the patients. Doctors don’t believe LHIN should have the power to make unilateral decisions on patient care, however doctors believe that health care resources must be focused on the front line care.   THERE ARE 5 REASONS TO STOP THIS BILL

1)Access to my doctor will be decided by a government employee

2)My confidential patient health records can be access by bureaucrats

3)Funding will be taken away from hospitals and the front line care provided by doctors and nurses, to instead hire more government bureaucrats.

4)Provincial medical standards will be decided by bureaucrats and politicians, instead of medical experts.

5)The government will have control over all aspects of my health care with more emphasis on saving money instead of saving lives.
